Development of Agatha Ruiz de la Prada’s collection with Visatex Group Decoration fabrics.
AGATHA RUIZ DE LA PRADA’s creations are a true means of artistic creation. From the hand of VISATEX begins a project full of design and imagination.
In July 2018 in Madrid, Agatha held her first catwalk fashion show with exclusively upholstery fabrics. Our design team worked in coordination with this prestigious brand for the development of the collection.
The quality of fabrics we produced ranged from spectacular jacquard weaves to funky prints in 100% cotton fabric.
This internationally distinguished designer has trusted the Group to manufacture all its upholstery and decoration products. Curtains, blinds, cushion covers, conventional and stain-resistant resin tablecloths. In addition, an outdoor collection with Acrylic-Dralon fabrics designed to bring life to the garden or terrace.
Optimistic, colourful and a staunch enemy of black, Ágatha’s universe is dominated by playfulness, strident colours, polka dots, stars, stripes and hearts.
Nothing can resist this woman who loves freedom and adores, in her own words, “happy clothes”. Today she has achieved what many long for: her own inimitable style.
I Edition ATEVAL awards
Grupo VISATEX has been awarded in the 1st Edition of the ATEVAL Awards in the category of internationalisation.
The awards ceremony took place after the celebration of the Asamblea General de ATEVAL, which was inaugurated by the S.A. of Economy, Empar Martínez Bonafé and closed by the President of CEV Valencia, Eva Blasco; and in which the achievements and challenges faced by the textile sector in the last year were analysed.
Textiles Visatex S.L. is a company with a 100% family shareholding structure whose main activity is the commercialisation of fabrics and products for the home and decoration, with facilities in Muro de Alcoy (Alicante). It was founded at the end of the last century, in 1998 by Vicente Mollá Belda, starting the activity with a small warehouse dedicated to the purchase and sale of fabrics, with a basic and very small catalogue, working with national clients and local suppliers.
In 2002, with the entry into the company of the second generation, Textiles Visatex took a qualitative leap in the business, forming a design office for the development of its own designs, introducing new fabric bases, creating a production management department to control all the processes from the purchase of raw materials to the manufacture of the finished product by third parties, and it is with all this that the company began to position itself within the textile world, starting its export activity. Over the years, this activity has grown and has been boosted every year until today it is the main source of the company’s turnover.
Its constant investment in personal and economic resources has allowed it to establish commercial contacts with up to 77 countries and the development of ambitious projects, such as the constitution of a subsidiary of Visatex Textiles in the USA, Visatex Home.
